Techne Summit  took place at Bibliotheca Alexandrina where Karim joined a panel on impact investing alongside Sabrina Salama from Seedstars, Ahmed Bastawy from Icealex , and Nour Allam from Plus VC (+VC). The room was overflowing with young and promising entrepreneurs.

Techne Summit has become a leading international conference that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders to foster innovation and business growth, particularly in the MENA region and around the Mediterranean. 

Originating in Alexandria, Egypt, the summit has expanded to Cairo and other global locations such as Dubrovnik, Croatia. The Alexandria edition is known for its vibrant youth participation,  networking opportunities, and focus on digital technology and impact investing.

Karim has attended two Techne Summits in Alexandria as well as the Dubrovnik edition in 2022, gaining insights into the unique Mediterranean  startup ecosystem.
